Global Scoreboard is a Reddit Devvit app that displays soccer fixtures, live scores, match events, statistics, lineups, recent-form summaries, and community predictions for moderator-selected teams.

Use of the App

The app is intended for subreddit communities that want a moderator-curated soccer scoreboard and match thread experience. Subreddit moderators are responsible for choosing which teams appear in the watchlist and for configuring per-board settings such as auto sticky, auto lock, post-match thread creation, and competition filters.

Third-Party Data

The app uses public soccer data and images from ESPN endpoints. Scores, fixtures, events, statistics, lineups, and form data may be delayed, incomplete, unavailable, or inaccurate. Global Scoreboard does not guarantee the correctness or availability of match data.

No Affiliation

Global Scoreboard is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Reddit, ESPN, FIFA, any league, federation, club, team, or player.

Availability

The app is provided as-is and may change, break, or become unavailable at any time. ESPN endpoint changes, Reddit Devvit platform changes, network issues, or subreddit configuration changes may affect app behavior, including community predictions and Remind Me delivery.

Community Predictions

Community prediction polls are a non-binding pregame community feature. Votes are anonymous in the UI (only aggregate totals are shown), but the app records which user cast each vote so a single user cannot vote multiple times. Votes are not a guarantee of any outcome and should not be used as betting advice.

Remind Me Notifications

Users can opt in to receive a Reddit private message about five minutes before a selected match kicks off. Delivery depends on Reddit messaging availability and is not guaranteed. Users who do not want the reminder should simply not press the Remind Me button.

Moderator Responsibility

Moderators are responsible for configuring the watchlist and deciding whether the app is appropriate for their community. The app is designed so regular users can view the scoreboard, vote in predictions, and request reminders, while moderators control the teams shown and the match-thread automation.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Global Scoreboard is provided without warranties of any kind. The app developer is not liable for losses or issues caused by delayed scores, incorrect data, service interruptions, missed reminders, or app misuse.

Changes

These terms may be updated from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated terms.
